ASIS Hampton Roads 2012 Strategic Plan

The Strategic Plan for the Hampton Roads Chapter of ASIS International is to provide a Vision and Mission Statement, as well as its 2012 Goals to the Chapter members to help provide leadership and guidance to advance the chapter.

Vision Statement
To be the leader in security networking and education in the Hampton Roads area while advancing chapter growth and increasing overall membership participation.
Mission Statement
To promote excellence and professional leadership in the Hampton Roads security industry.
2012 Goals
1. To hold monthly Chapter board meetings to discuss current chapter, regional and ASIS International matters.
2. Create opportunities for the exchange of information throughout the Hampton Roads area.
3. To create leadership advancement for the chapter members while ensuring continual succession planning.
4. Encourage, support and help communicate joint chapter events and activities
5. Support chapter initiatives/programs such as increasing the membership in the areas of Women and Young Professionals in the security industry, scholarships and certifications.
6. Create and promote a chapter social media presence to include a website and Facebook footprint in order to best provide information to chapter members and potential members.
7. Seek out professional speakers and create a speaker listing for use by the chapter.
