Why Certify?: The simple answers is that to remain as competitive as possible today, you must be certified. The bar has been raised in the security profession and employers, contractors, governments, and even clients are now taking additional steps to ensure that they are hiring or working with the most skilled and knowledgeable individual in the business.
Another aspect of the ASIS certification programs includes the ASIS International program being the first of its kind to be awarded the coveted Safety Act designation by the U.S. Department of Homeland Security.
Recently, the ASIS certification program has been awarded accreditation by the American National Standards Institute (ANSI). This endorsement confirms that ASIS global certification programs adhere to the highest professional standards.
